NYMB Playing Rules 

Times of Games
U9 & U11 - 20minutes a half (regular season) 25 minutes a half (playoff).
U13 - 25minutes a half (regular season) 30 minutes a half (playoff).
U15 & U17 - 25minutes a half (regular season) 30 minutes a half (playoff).
Games MUST start on time. If a club is unable to field a team at the designated time of the game, there shall be a 15minute grace period. At the end of the 15minute grace period the game, with no exceptions, will begin by the referee or be awarded to the team present and ready to play.

Balls
U7's play with a 1st Touch.
U9's play with a Quick Touch.
U11's play with a Smart Touch.
U13's play with a Size 4.
U15, U17's play with a Size 5.

45's
U9's out of their hand.
U11's out of their hand.
U13's off the ground.
U15's/ U17's off the ground.

Scores
U9's A score under the bar is worth 1 points and a score over the bar is worth 3 (Scores are reversed)
U11+ Normal scores apply, goal is worth 3 and a point is worth 1

Kickouts
U9's out of their hands from the 13-meter line.
U11's out of their hands from the 13-meter line.
U13's out of their hands from the 13-meter line.
U15's/ U17's off the ground from the 21-meter line.

Numbers of Players
11 is the minimum number of players a team can play with for the score to count as a non-forfeit game.
In the event that a team has less than 11, 9 is the minimum a team can start with but they must have 11 players by half time.

Playing Numbers at U9 is 11 a side, or unless both managers agree 13 a side. Teams at U9, U11 and U13 DO NOT have to match playing numbers. 

Girls
Girls can play down 1 year in U9, U11 and U13 games. Example a girl in their 14th year can play on a boys U13 boy's team. 

Playing Rules
U9 & U11's there are no penalties awarded, instead a 13 meter free is given and it is two-touch football only (two solos or a bounce and solo before they must pass or shoot. Players are not permitted to soccer-style dribble acorss the field and are only allowed two touches).
U13's there are penalties, but not two touch football - players can have unlimited touches on the ball.
U15 & U17's are full GAA playing rules including the 20 meter kick out rule, black card and forward mark.

Goalposts
U9 and U11s - 12 x 7 feet.
U13 full regulation size - 21 x 8 feet.
U15 & U17 full regulation size - 21 x 8 feet.

Parents, Officials and Umpires
Clubs MUST provide 1 umpire for each side, clubs must provide linesmen.
Coaches and players should be on one side of the field, parents on the other.

Checklist and Reporting
Reports are due in before Tuesday night at 8.00pm
Referees must bring the following to games, 2 loud whistles, stopwatch, back up watch, pens, cards, scorecard and coin.
